What information do you need in order to provide an estimate?
Any and all information you can provide is helpful. To ensure accuracy in your estimate, the following information is useful:
Material desired, size of sign, quantity, content of sign, size of text and ship to location.
Pictures of existing signs can be a great reference.
Please understand that our estimates are approximate and subject to change without the above mentioned information.

What is the turnaround time for my sign order?
Typical production time is 8-14 weeks from the time that you approve your proof. This is for a majority of the signs we manufacture. Larger, painted signs may require 15-25 weeks. During our busy season (June-September) please allow longer lead time for production.

Can I expedite my order?
If you need your sign order quicker than the above mentioned turnaround time, we can typically meet your needs for a rush fee of approximately 15% of your order cost. This price does vary so please inquire!

I placed my sign order, what’s next?
You will first receive a sales confirmation and our designers will get started on designing your proof. During our busy season please understand that your proof will not come right away. You will receive a proof approval request via email or fax where you can make changes to your sign order or approve your sign order. Once you approve your proof, we will place your order in line to be produced. Once your order has been completed and shipped, we will send you an invoice that informs you of the ship date.

Are all signs pre-drilled?
We do not pre-drill larger signs because every installation varies. We do pre-drill trail signs and smaller signs upon request. The standard pre-drilled hole size is 5/16”, 1/4" or 3/8”. Please specify which size you prefer. Allow $0.50 per pre-drilled hole.

How do I pay for my order?
We accept MasterCard, Visa and Checks upon credit approval. You may call during our normal business hours to pay for your order.

How will my order ship? How long will shipping take?
Smaller signs are shipped via UPS. Depending on your location, it may take 2- 5 days to receive your order once it has shipped. 
Larger signs are shipped using a freight company. Once freight has shipped it may take 3-7 days to receive your signs depending on your location.
You may receive a shipment tracking number upon request.
If needed, we can expedite your shipping upon request. We are able to send packages via UPS 1-Day, 2-Day and 3-Day. If your package requires freight shipping we can expedite via UPS or FedEx. The price will generally be higher for rush shipments.

We are located in the beautiful Gunnison Valley of Western Colorado. 
Since we are centrally located, it is very convenient to ship to the East and West Coast regions.

NPS Arrowheads not for Public Sales
Wood Product Signs can only manufacture and sell National Park Arrowheads to the National Park Service. Sorry no outside sales are allowed. 

We are able to sell National Park Service Arrowhead’s that are laser engraved on Western Red Cedar with a clear laquer finish. See our dedication arrowheads and plaques for examples. 

How do I determine what letter size I need?
Letter size for interpretive, safety, and other informational signs is dependent upon the distance from which the message is viewed. 
Viewed from 4 feet or less = 5/8" letters 
Viewed from 5-7 feet = 3/4" letters
Viewed from 8-12 feet = 1" letters
Viewed from 13-20 feet = 2" letters
Viewed from over 20 feet = 3" letters
